Dex Rubio is a visual development artist, character designer, and animator currently pursuing a Master’s in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking at Gobelins Paris.
With a strong foundation in animation and concept development, Dex specializes in expressive character design, stylized visual development, and storytelling-driven imagery. Their work combines strong draftsmanship with a cinematic sense of color, mood, and composition, aiming to support narrative and worldbuilding in animation projects.
Having worked across short films, games, and freelance illustration, Dex brings adaptable design skills and a collaborative mindset suited to studio pipelines. They are particularly interested in contributing to visually ambitious productions that push stylization and storytelling in animation.
